#2. The house I live in, honestly needs a total change in construction and design but as
of now there are those parts of the house that needs immediate attention.
I choose to redesign the windows of the second floor because of the following
reasons:
1. The south side of the house receives an annual dose of the rains of the southwest
monsoon. My beddings always get wet.
2. Not only rain but typhoons always direct hits this side. (especially in the room where
I stay)
3. The afternoon sun, meanwhile strikes its heat at the western side of the house. The
front of the house faces west. So, my room turns into the Sahara Desert during the
afternoon, making it impossible to take the afternoon nap.
4. The iron grills are all covered with rust.
5. The jalousies are hard to clean. Also because of the presence of the screen.
