FINAL REQUIREMENT # 1

What has been your most meaningful experience/insight/realization during this Enhanced
Community Quarantine (ECQ) pandemic period?
This ECQ caused by a new virus was a total surprise for me. I thought things like these
would happen in the distant future, not now. This caught me off guard, honestly. There are
many conspiracy theories that came out regarding this pandemic. At this point in time, I cannot
believe such theories but there is one thing that I must be doing, as a true Christian must be
doing: No matter what happens to the world, I will keep my faith in the Holy Trinity until the
end.
This pandemic has caused fear in most of us, but as a Christian, I must trust in God that
He will always protect me.
. “A thousand may fall at your side
And ten thousand at your right hand,
But it shall not come near you…
Nor shall any plague come near your dwelling;
For He shall give His angels charge over you,
To keep you in all your ways.
In their hands they shall bear you up.
Psalm 91:7-12, NKJV
I have become more prayerful now since I know I can do nothing against this virus.
Reading from God’s Words from the Holy Scriptures gives me hope, assurance of His protection
and even instructions on spiritual and even practical matters in my earthly life. I realize God has
prepared everything for those who follow Him and keep His commandments. He gave us life
saving tips right in His Book. Coming directly from our God, these tips surely will keep us
healthy and can guarantee us a strong immune system to combat any killer virus.
I And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the
face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall
be for meat. –Genesis 1:29, KJV

It’s up to us to read and discover and apply them for our survival, even for our spiritual
survival. Most specially, He gave all of His love through the loving sacrifice of His Son, Jesus
Christ. Moreover, Jesus Himself also promised a Big Bonus, the Holy Spirit.
But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and

ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria,
and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

But as a follower of Jesus Christ, I must be willing to follow His commandments. One
such commandment is His last words before He went up to Heaven. It is also known as the
Great Commission.

[18] And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me
in heaven and in earth.
[19] Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the
Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
[20] Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

I admit that I am not a great missionary nor even a good preacher but through my way
of life, I can be a living sermon for others. I am at a loss for words if I stand in front of a crowd
and give a sermon. I can only be confident enough to speak to a minimum crowd of three(3)
persons at a time. I let my actions speak for themselves.
My closest friends do not understand why I went back to college and take up BS
Architecture. One of my best reasons is that I take Jesus’ words seriously specially regarding
the “parable of the Talents”( Matthew 25:14-30) . I am likewise bewildered why they
discourage me. I reasoned that to be more productive, it is also my responsibility to improve
my talents in order to serve others better for God’s sake. Well, I said to myself, each one is
different in his opinion. And as long as I am doing things for the Lord and not hurting anyone
with my late, late schooling, I will continue with what I am doing.
