1. Imagine a world without computers. What would be our world today if computers
were not invented?
If there were no computers, maybe we would be more social, more community-
driven like people were in the past. Maybe more kids would play outside. Maybe
more adults would read. Spend more quality time with the family. You'd simply
have other things to do, other interests and hobbies that are not driven by
technology. Books, board games, sports, whatever it is that you choose to
indulge in.

DIRECTION: Watch the YouTube documentary. In your own understanding, what is the
impact of computers in our lives?
Computers are part of our everyday lives. We use them for school, we use them
for our own personal use, and we would be lost without them. Without them
we would be less developed and less knowledgeable. In some ways it would be
better and in some ways it would be a bit worse. It all depends how people uses
the technology.

DIRECTION: Answer the following question.


The fifth generation of computer is all about creating computers that could think and
move like human beings. Do you think computers could actually replace human? Why? Why
not?
However useful they may be, computers cannot replace human beings. Human
life is not an engine. Tears falling from our eyes, love someone dearly, care for
one another are examples of computers cannot do but human beings can. It
cannot have feelings. Computers are made by us. It’s only a machine, a tool, an
engine. People made computers and that fact alone can testify that computer
cannot replace humans.
