of contract Form 'A' specifications and Schedules of Rates to the satisfaction of
the department or in default thereof to forfeit and pay to DVVNL the sum of
money mentioned in the said conditions.

In consideration of the Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited having

treated the Tender to be an eligible person whose tender may be considered the
Tenderer hereby agrees to the condition that the proposal in response to the above
invitation shall not be withdrawn within 180 days (or any extension thereof) from
the date of opening of the tender, also to the condition that if hereafter the
Tenderer does withdrawn his proposal within the said period, the Earnest Money
deposited by him may be forfeited to the Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam
Limited, Agra and at the discretion of the Department, the Department may debar
the Tenderer from tendering for a minimum period of one year, reckoned from the
date of opening of the tender.
