Dear sir/madam,

My name is Stefanos Sokratous and I am a sixth-year undergraduate student of medicine at the

University of Ioannina (Greece). With this motivation letter, I would like to express my will to apply
for endocrinology for the professional exchange I am about to take part in.

Endocrinology is a fascinating and challenging multidimensional specialty that considers the

integration of all of the body’s systems. I love the range of diagnoses and treatments in
endocrinology. 

At the same time, I am keen to use this opportunity to grow my professional network. I believe
that, alongside scientific excellence, networking is key to the success of a future professional
doctor like myself. I also believe that the success of the IFMSA initiative lies in expanding
professional networks, as this can unlock a lot of opportunities.
As a person, I enjoy teamwork and group discussions and I have a passion for the science of
Medicine. I also have a genuine interest in discovering new countries and civilisations and to
interact with people that share the same values and interests with me.
