Fall Break
Please keep in mind that we will be out of school next week for Fall Break.
Teachers will in teacher training on October 12 and 13 Your children will return
to school on Wednesday, October 14. I hope that you and your children have a
very enjoyable Fall Break!

Assignment Book Mystery Readers Spelling & Memory Verse

Each first grader will receive an
assignment book when we return
from Fall Break. This assignment
book will be used for writing
down homework each day and
will help teach responsibility and
organization. Please look at your
child’s assignment book each
evening and initial in the
appropriate place.
What a wonderful way to end
our week and begin Fall Break!
We had not one, but two,
“Mystery Readers” today. I
would like to thank Nisha
Powers, Lucas’s mom, and
Steven Sanders, Camille’s dad,
for reading to us today and
sharing their time and their love
of reading with us.
We will not have a spelling test or
memory verse test on Friday of
the week that we return from Fall
Break.
Packet Pick-up
The next Packet Pick-up for
virtual learners will be Tuesday,
October 13, from 9 - 3 pm.
