Accelerated Reader
Students are starting over with new reading goals for Accelerated Reader for the second
semester.. Your child’s new goal is being sent home today in your child’s homework folder. I
am also sending home today the reading level that your child needs to use when choosing AR
books.. Please encourage your child to read as much as possible and take AR tests over the
books read.

Mystery Reader Memory Verse Spelling and Memory Verse

It is time once again to sign up to be
the “Mystery Reader.” Especially if
you have not already done this, I
would encourage you to volunteer
because it will mean a great deal to
your child. Please look at the sheet
that is being sent home today;
indicate your first, second, and third
choices; sign the sheet; and return it
to me on Monday. I would like to
thank you in advance for your help
with this.

Class Pictures
Class pictures will be made on
Thursday, January 21.
Students should wear school
uniforms as usual on this day.
We will have a spelling test and a
memory verse test next week on
Friday over Spelling List #11 and
Psalm 119:11. These are both being
sent home today in your child’s
folder.
