Studying art as a student made me appreciate art more than ever and inspired me to create some of my own. I have learned to not criticize art
only on the first-hand judgement, but with critical judgement of the elements, mood and impression of the art. Art encouraged my self-
expression and creativity and I can now build confidence as well as a sense of individual identity because of art. Not only studying art brings
creativity but it develops my critical thinking and the ability to interpret the world around us. Studying art and design provides the opportunity
to acquire new skills and with the knowledge of different art forms, media and techniques, I can also gain specialist skills in areas such as
photography and digital technologies.
