DISCUSSION

In the rupiah exchange rate data from 3 August 2020 to 23 September 2020, the
average value is Rp. 14,771.4. Meanwhile, the middle value of the data is IDR 14782. From
the results of data processing also obtained a standard deviation value of 107.12038. This
standard deviation value shows the distribution of the data distribution calculated from the
mean (positive and negative). Judging from the standard deviation value obtained, it can be
concluded that the distribution of this data is quite low, so that the rupiah exchange rate
data obtained is focused enough on the mean or average value. In addition, in Figure 2, it
can be seen that the highest bar chart is in the middle, namely the range between Rp.
14,770 - Rp. 14,859 where in that range there is a mean value of Rp. 14,771.4. If the data
distribution is close to the average value, it can be said that the data distribution is normal.
The data distribution can also be seen from the value of Skewness and Kurtosis. Skewness is
the slope level of a distribution.

In Table 2, a negative Skewness value is obtained, which means that the peak value
is on the right and decreases to the left. This is in accordance with Figure 2. The Skewness
value obtained is -0.09031, which means that the Skewness of this data is normal (normal
Skewness will be between -2 to 2). Furthermore, there is Kurtosis which is an altitude level
of frequency and distribution. A kurtosis value of 0 is normal, values above 0 have a high /
high frequency curve (centralized data), below 0 means a gentle and scattered curve.
Normal kurtosis is in the range -2 to 2. Kurtosis obtained is -0.51657, so the kurtosis is
normal with a gentle and scattered curve.

In Table 3, it can be seen that the most data distribution is in the range between Rp.
14,770 - Rp. 14,859. In this range there is a mean value. This means that the data
distribution of the rupiah exchange rate is included in the normal distribution. For further
information, it can be seen also in Figure 2 and Figure 3. In the bar and pie charts, it appears
that the highest value is in the middle. This is one way to find out the distribution, namely
by looking at the data in the diagram. If the data is in the middle, which means that the
middle data has a median and a mean, then the data distribution is normal.
 So it can be concluded that the distribution of the rupiah exchange rate data from
August 3, 2020 to September 23, 2020, is normal or even.
