Presenter 1

1. Assalamualaikum and Good morning,

2. My name is Nadim and this is Hijjaz. We are from Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri
Hartamas, Kuala Lumpur.

3. We are representing our group called AURORA.

4. Now, we are going to present to you our chemecar prototype which we named
SUPER AURORA.

Presenter 2
1. We would like to highlight the three main sections of this presentation.

2. First, we are going to share the concept of this prototype.

3. Next will be the material we used to develop this prototype.

4. And lastly, the challenges that we faced and how we overcome it.

Presenter 1
1. We used recycled materials such as bottle caps, straws, ice cream
sticks, skewers and rubber bands to build SUPER AURORA’s main
body. This is to support eco-friendly concept and is also cost effective.

2. Since plastics are non-bio degradable materials, we reuse those to make

this prototype and this is one of our efforts to save the environment.

3. The 9V battery as green energy supply is used to move the motor and pulley
and subsequently move the tyres. The three main energy involved during this
process are 1) chemical energy, 2) mechanical energy and 3) kinetic energy.

4. SUPER AURORA has been designed with aerodynamic features that

reduces drag and wind noise.
5. The front of the car was designed to let the air flow through the body and back
to the spoiler. This creates a downforce push and makes SUPER AURORA
stable and is able to move faster.

Presenter 2
1. Next, I will talk about the materials we used for this prototype.

2. We developed the prototype mainly by using recycled materials.

3. Straws and bottle caps are non-biodegradable plastics. We re-used

those to design the aerodynamic body and the tyres.

4. We used ice cream sticks for the car body, skewers to hold the tyres and
rubber band as the gear.

5. We also used DC motor, 9V battery and a switch to create a simple

circuit that powers SUPER AURORA.

Presenter 1
1. During the development of this prototype, we faced challenges that we would
like to share with you.

2. First is the design of the car. We have agreed to use ice cream sticks and
plastic straws as the main material for the car body because of its lightweight
property. We shaped it in aerodynamic design so that we can get the car to
move faster.

3. Second is to make the car move in a straight line. We tried a few types of
bottle caps until we found the most suitable size and alignment. We adjusted
the tyres and tested until we achieved the optimum result.
Presenter 2
1. It was such an excitement to be able to join this 2020 Chemecar
Competition and we have learnt a lot while working on this prototype.

2. We have achieved our objective which is to design a chemecar

prototype by using recyclable items and battery as energy supply that
supports the concept of green technology, eco-friendly, cost efficiency
and also practicality.

3. We have also learnt that teamwork, patience and creativity are important
to make this project successful.

4. This brings us to the end of our presentation. To end, we would like to

thank our mentor, Cikgu Faiez and the other team members who have
constructed this prototype, Iffat Sidqi and Adam Bakhtiar.

5. Thank you.
