ACADEMIC INTERVIEW

1. Tell me some personal information about yourself (full name, age, nationality,
marital status, family, studies, phone number, and e-mail address).
My first name is Giovana and my last name is Apancho Chambi. I am 23 years old. I
am from Arequipa in Peru. I am single. My family usually travels. I am an Industrial
Engineering student. My phone number is 915254512. My e-mail address is
gioapancho@gmail.com.

2. What do you like doing in this quarantine?

In this quarantine I like listening to music and singing. I like dancing. I like to spend
time with my family, watch movies on Netflix. I like cooking and painting.

3. Describe your house (remember to use there is, there are and prepositions).
My house is white, there is a gray door, there are also 4 rooms where my parents, my
brother and I sleep. There is a garden full of flowers and trees, in my room there is a
bed and two mirrors because I like to see myself, there is a laptop and there are many
clothes.

4. Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert person? Why?

I consider myself an extrovert person I like to share time with my friends I am very
social, I share my experiences and I like to listen to them too.

5. What do you usually do after your online sessions?

I usually prepare the food after the online sessions and order my room, after that I
review the courses I had during the day. I usually go to the supermarket and Shopping
mall.

6. What was your school like?

I liked math and physics classes and also played sports, I was very competitive and
responsible, I was in the basketball and volleyball team. I liked to paint and draw.

7. What do you study? Why did you choose it?

I am studying industrial engineering. I chose this occupation because it is a complete
career that covers all engineering and there is more job opportunity.
 8. What are your career plans?
My career plans are getting an industrial engineering degree and a master's degree in
production management for the formation of a quality company and obtain a job on my
possess merits. Finally, be working and knowing other cultures.

9. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years. I would like to be graduated and with my master's degree working in a
real estate company where I have to lead and also a specialty in human resources.

10. How do you deal with virtual lessons?

I give attention on each session also looking for additional information to help me
understand better. And too I look for videos, files, web page, books online and tutorials
sometimes.
    
11. What would be the biggest changes in your life after Covid - 19?
Too taking care of the environment is very important because it is the only place we
live in, valuing the lives of adults and children because they are more susceptible.

12. What are you going to miss from university? Why?

I will miss my colleagues because we learned that teamwork is very important in order
to resolve problems, also did events competitive, for example social, cultural and
sports events that they did in the university.

13. Tell me about a member of your family

I am going to talk about my cousin, her name is Renata. She likes drawing and
painting. She does not like onions and milk. She has a twin sister; her name is
Adriana.

14. When was the last time you were sad? What happened?
The first month of quarantine, I was locked depriving me of my freedom and also
affected my learning because virtual classes were very different, each one has their
advantages to learn.

15. How do you think university is going to benefit your future? 

It is important because I will leave with a university career and it also influenced me
with the professional training and quality of teachers who instilled in my values that will
serve for my future.
