Selfie Directions:

Before you begin you should have a Selfie, and 5 other photos of images of objects or places that
are important to you. All images must be your own and taken since September 8, 2020. Images
should be jpegs.

It is recommended that you rename your image files so they are easier to find and make sure they
are accessible by being on your desktop.

Open photopea.com. You will begin with opening your Selfie which is the background layer.

1. In Photopea go to File- Open and select your Selfie image.

2. Go to IMAGE and use the following adjustments to edit your image: curves,
brightness/contrast, levels and exposure. Click OKAY after each adjustment.
3. For the 2nd Layer go to File- OPEN and PLACE. Choose your image. Rotate and/or
expand the new image to where you would like it to be.
4. Go to Layer- Rasterize. This will allow you to edit the image.

5. If it won’t let you Rasterize go to Layer- Smart Object- Convert to Smart Object.

6. Choose a layer style and opacity. Use the lasso tool, eraser, magic wand or selection tool
to take away parts of the image that are not needed. Use the brackets to make the eraser
bigger and look at the bar above for other options.
7. Using the Layer (default is Normal) and Opacity to adjust. You may also rearrange the
order of your layers.

8. If you lose the Layer panel go to Window.

9. Remember to got to File- Save AS- jpeg (weebly.com will only take jpegs). Check in
your downloads to make sure the image is there.
