1.Define fitrah.

Ans. Fitrah is an Arabic word which means"original disposition," "natural constitution," or "innate
nature."
When a child is born, it has with it a natural belief in Allah. This natural belief is called in Arabic
the 'fitrah'. If the child were left alone, it would grow up aware of Allah in His unity, but all
children are affected by the pressures of their environment, whether directly or indirectly.
The Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ reported that Allah (SWT) said:“I created My servants in the right
religion but the devils made them go astray.”

The Prophet (‫)ﷺ‬ also said: “Each child is born in a state of ‘fitrah’, but his parents
make him a Jew or a Christian.

2. What is Islam? How the Islam is complete code of life?

Ans. The word Islam literally means “submission (to Allah)”. It also means peace. Followers of
Islam aim to live a life of complete submission to Allah.

Islam is a constituent part of life. It tells us how to manage all activities of life in a sound and
ethical way. Everyone can easily understand the Quran and follow the footsteps of the Prophet
Muhammad (SAW), to the best of his or her ability. Allah assured that He will accept the deeds
that each soul has the ability to offer: “On no soul does Allah place a burden greater than
it can bear.” (Quran 2:286)

Islam established a clear system of worship, laws about how to live life, civil rights, political
rights, social rights and everything which is needed to lead our lives. So, with no doubt Islam is
the complete code of life.

3. Why did Allah send prophets?

Ans. Allah had been sending Prophets and Messengers to his devotees in order to invite them to
the worship of Allah and Allah Alone, to order them not to ascribe partners unto Him and bring
them out of the darkness of polytheism into the light of Monotheism. All the Prophets preached
Tauhid ( Monotheism, the Belief in the Oneness of Allah, the Glorious, the Elevated).
4. Why does Islam tell mankind to explore the universe? How does it help us to
know Allah?

Islam guides mankind to the universe and see the signs of Allah.
In the Qur’an, Allah invites people to reject blindly accepting the beliefs and values.
Man must think on how he came into being, what the purpose of his life is, why he will die and what
awaits him after death. He must question how he, himself, and the whole universe came into existence
and how they continue to exist.
By thinking while isolating his conscience from all social, ideological and psychological obligations, the
person should eventually perceive that the entire universe, including himself, is created by a superior
power, by True God, Allah(SWT).
Allah says, “Say: ‘Praise be to God. He will show you His Signs and you will recognize them. Your Lord
is not heedless of anything you do.’” (Qur’an, 27:93)
