General Printing Tips

The best program to print these planner pages with is Adobe Reader, which you can download for free from the Adobe website
(please Google Adobe Reader and follow the links as they vary per country). The quality of your planner pages will depend on your
printer and paper quality, but they are designed to be simple and elegant so that they look great through both home and
professional printers. I personally recommend a bright white paper, with a weight of 100gsm or higher. It’s always a good idea to
print a few test pages before printing a whole batch, to make sure your inserts are printing correctly. Options for printing will
depend on your printer, ink and paper, so please note that I can only offer limited guidance, but hopefully these tips will help you.

A4 & US Letter Printing

1. Open the A4nplanner PDF and press print.
2. In the print settings, select A4 or US Letter paper in the ‘Page Setup’ area.
3. Select ‘Fit’ in the ‘Paper Sizing & Handling’ area to scale the design to fit your page.
4. If your printer can auto-duplex the pages, select long-side binding before pressing print, using the ‘Flip on long edge’ option.
5. If your printer doesn’t duplex, print the odd pages first by clicking this option under the ‘Pages to Print’ section, then re-insert the
pages and print the even pages on the back. Please bear in mind that all printers function differently, so you may need to manually
invert the pages into the printer, depending on how your printer feeds.
6. Hole punch your new planner inserts and enjoy your new planner!

A5 Printing
Printing onto A5 paper
(Recommended for ease of printing. You can either purchase A5 paper, or cut your paper to size before printing, rather than after.)
1. Open the A5 planner PDF and press print.
2. In the print settings, select A5 paper in the ‘Page Setup’ area.
3. Select the option to print at ‘Actual Size’, or scaled to 100%.
3. Then, follow steps 4-6 from the guidance above.

Printing two-to-a-page
1. Open the A5 planner PDF and press print.
2. In the print settings, select A4 paper in the ‘Page Setup’ area.
3. Select the Booklet option
3. Print the front side pages first by clicking this option under the ‘Booklet Subset’ section, then re-insert the paper stack and print the
back side pages onto the reverse. Please bear in mind that all printers function differently, so you may need to manually invert the
pages into the printer, depending on how your printer feeds. Be sure to print a few test pages before printing the entire planner.
6. Cut your A5 pages in half. Using a guillotine is the easiest way to do this, but you could also use scissors or an x-acto knife.
7. Hole punch your new planner inserts and enjoy your new planner!
