Social etiquette of Lithuania

Lithuanians are usually much more body and self conscious than Englishman.
Most people try hard to look well upon any trip into the city, even if it's just for
their weekly shopping.
Lithuanians, I guess, could be considered much more conservative in terms
social mores and norms.
Table manners are slightly more strict in Lithuania than in the UK (eg.
appropriately holding your cutlery, not cutting the food into many small pieces,
not talking with food in your mouth, etc.)
Statistically, Lithuania is among the 5 highest alcohol consuming countries in
the world, so yes people do enjoy the nightlife here (sometimes too much).
Lithuanians have been increasingly more fluent in English and welcoming of
foreigners as a result of industry expanse and international students. Typically,
people over the age of 40 will be more likely to speak Russian than English, and
people below the age of 30 will most likely speak English quite well.
