Many people asked Sherlock to investigate the deaths of their family members but he
was not interested, but one day they told him to go to the palace. The new case is with
Irene, but he did not know. He had to recover a cell phone with some very important
photos, then he met Irene, and they was forced to open a safe, but there was a gun and
the bad guys died and got their cell phone back, but Irene took it away, she sent text
messages to Sherlock but after a few days she sent him her cell phone and pretended to
be dead, but he did not know the cell phone password, And in the end she tells Sherlock
and his brother that it was all a hoax that did not contain important photos, but the
password was Sherlock's name because she was in love with him. Finally he showed
how they are going to kill Irene but Sherlock saved her.

The Book and video

Holmes and Watson are committed to solving the case raised by a hereditary king who
is threatened by a very beautiful woman of being blackmailed during his next wedding,
this beautiful lady, called Irene Adler, has a photo of her next to the king, which can
cause a scandal in his kingdom of Bohemia. Sherlock Holmes plans how to find out
where Miss Irene Adler has hidden the photo, since the hereditary King of Bohemia has
tried in various ways to get the photo without a satisfactory result. Sherlock spies on
Miss Adler's movements, he already knows that she is an opera singer and that she
leaves and returns home at seven o'clock every day, and that a man visits her daily.

Holmes one morning sees that Miss Adler goes out together with the man who visits her
every day, both leave in a hurry in a carriage, Sherlock follows them and sees that they
arrive at the church, and decides to enter pretending to be some faithful Christian
devotee, his Surprise begins when both subjects are with the priest talking and Adler's
companion, he goes to him and asks him to be the witness of the wedding.

After the wedding of Miss Irene Adler with the gentleman Godfrey Norton, both of
them left their separate ways, she went home and Norton perhaps his, Sherlock devised
a plan to get Irene to reveal where she was photo, for this he would have the
collaboration of Dr. Watson, as Sherlock knew at what time she would arrive, he would
do a simulation of being injured, in front of the house of the now Mrs. Norton, and with
this he would get her to introduce him into her home to help him.

Watson, once Sherlock is inside Irene's house, would launch an artifact that causes a
smoke and Holmes would scream fire, and with it he would realize where she keeps the
photo, because it would be one of the few objects that she would try to protect. Sherlock
the next day makes the plan as is and gets to know where the photo is stored, and the
day after he invites the King of Bohemia to go and rescue the photo.
 The king of Bohemia with some excuse would distract Mrs. Irene and he would take
advantage and grab the compromising photo, but upon arrival he finds that they have
left London, and the housekeeper hands him an envelope with a photo where Irene
Adler is alone, and a note explaining how she discovered his plans, which has allowed
her to escape with her husband, out of the influence of the King of Bohemia.

Irene Adler, wife of Godfrey Norton, writes to him and lets him know that she will keep
the letter as insurance so that the King of Bohemia will not do anything against him, and
promises not to use it to cause any harm to said king, the king will he believes and
thanks Holmes by offering him a jewel as final payment, but he keeps the photo of Irene
Adler, a woman he begins to admire for having been so intelligent and anticipating his
steps.

Some differences

1. In the book Sherlock describes Irene as different woman as others.

Otherwise the movie does not describe Irene.

2. The movie makes references about the relationship between Irene and
Sherlock, but the book let us know that they have a relationship; however it does not
show us references.

3. Watching the movie we can see a beautiful performance from the actor
that interpreted Sherlock Holmes, it is a nice feeling and more immersive than the book.

4. In Belgravia, the epoch is absolutely different, they have a many

technologies. Also Sherlock Holmes loves Irene, moreover the plot is boring and it loses
the essence of the book. The final is strange because apparently Irene died but she did
not

In conclusion, these two adaptations tried to follow the main idea of the plot, but the
YouTube video did it better than Dailymotion’s, and it does have sense because the
movie is for actual public and it had to update, although it lost his essence and It was a
bad movie destroyed by critics because it did not follow the story as it should.
