Chapel Chapel: Student Youth ALPHA Meeting in the Chapel TODAY @
12:15pm. All students who have participated in the Youth Alpha in the
past are invited to a meeting with Mr. Simoni today at 12:15pm. Please
come and join as we are preparing to have ALPHA again this semester
at Carroll and we want you to be involved. See you soon!
Cross Country Cross Country Running
Running There will be a brief but important meeting for anyone wanting to run
cross country this year. It will be on Thursday, at 3:15 in the science
resource centre. See Mr. Davis or Mrs. Longinotti if you cannot make it.
Delf Exam Any student wanting to write their DELF level B2 is asked to pick up a
sign up and pick up a registration letter in room 524.
The exam will occur in November.
Football FOOTBALL
All students interested in playing football this year, please attend a brief
meeting on Tuesday at 12:15 in the Art/Design Studio Seminar Room.
Girls Soccer Girls Soccer
There will be a brief meeting on Wednesday September 30th at 12:15 in
Room 526 for anyone who is interested in playing Girls Soccer this fall.

Day! the legacies of the Residential School system and its impacts on
generations of Indigenous students.

Science “Science 10 seminar is TODAY at 2:15 PM in Room 525. Topic being
covered: Cell structure and Cell Function
Social Social Studies 10-1/20-1:
It is nearing the end of September; Have you completed the Source
Interpretation for Social Studies 10-1 or Social Studies 20-1 to stay “on-
track”? Come to the Writer’s Café today! A Social Studies Teacher will
be able to assist you in getting started, or to help you edit and finalize
your analysis.
Current Affairs:
Did you know that current affairs seminars are available each week for all
three levels of Social Studies? Check the schedule, and attend the
seminar appropriate to your grade level, where a Social Studies teacher
will assist you in making connections between the headlines and your
coursework, and offer an opportunity for you to express your own views
on what is going on in our world.
