The annual Monster Mash Dance is scheduled for Friday, October 24th, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The cost is $2 per person. Please wear your Halloween costume. In addition to the DJ in the gym, there will be a bingo room and a movie in the library. We will also have a photo booth this year at the cost of $1. Please remember that parents are expected to remain in the building while their child attends this event. We NEED parent volunteers to offer this event. The students enjoyed spending some time in the fire prevention mobile trailer and learning about fire safety. This years celebration is scheduled for Friday, October 31st. This is a full day of school. Since the first half of the day is regular class time, please dress your child in such a manner so he/she is able to fully participate in class activities. The afternoon festivities will begin with the all-school parade that begins at 1:30pm. Parents and family members are invited to watch the parade outside in front of the school. Parties will immediately follow the parade and recess at the normally scheduled time. Specific party details will be provided by your childs teacher. We are looking for children kindergarten through the fifth grade who would like to participate in the Holiday Wishes children's chorus. The show will take place on December 5th and 6th at the Grand Ledge Hi gh School. Rehearsals start on Sunday, October 19th at 6.00pm. They will be held at the Congregational Church in Grand Ledge.
