4th Grade Annual Wax Museum

When: Friday, February 10, 2023 @ 9:00am

Where: Ray School Cafeteria

Last quarter students studied biographies during reading.

This quarter students will choose an influential person to
study for the 4th Grade Annual Wax Museum.

Students will read at least 3 texts about the person they

choose, and complete a variety of writing assignments
about their person of interest. Students will use their writing
information to write a speech they will present at the Wax
Museum! Most of this work will be done in class.

Students are asked to practice their speech, and create

their “looks” at home. Students are not expected to buy
anything for their costumes, and are encouraged to use
what they have at home to create a costume that would fit
the person they chose.

Research and speeches will be completed in class by

Thursday, February 2! Students will have the following week
to practice their speeches and get their “looks” ready.
