PERSONAL EXPERIENCE OF YOGA

This was my first time ever of practicing yoga in my life and learning that under the guidance
of the Prof Prashant sir made that experience 10 times better. He had explained us every
asana along with benefits of doing each asana. He educated us on the need of exercising yoga
in our everyday life.
I have learned from these online classes that practicing yoga is very effective in preventing
the spread of COVID-19. It helps to relax and boost the immunity system to help fight off
infections. I also learned that yoga is very beneficial to a law student and the professional
lawyers. Yoga helps to develop professional skills and ethics in life removes anxiety and
keeps the mind stress free.

In these starting online classes held in July 2020, we were made known about various kinds
of asanas and their benefits. first was stretching and after that, yoga Nidra meditation. This
helped us to promote mindfulness that enables us to be in the present. After meditation, we
did Pranayama which was a practice of breath control. It helps to boost our lungs and make
it more efficient and cure respiratory illness. Next asana was Tadasana, also known as
standing asana. It is a foundation pose to prepare for other poses and improves the posture.

This past month of learning online yoga has benefitted tremendously in my life. It has
encouraged me to practice yoga every single day.
