Main objective
To write and talk about the importance of having a balanced diet and do some exercise.
Introduction
This project is going to be about the importance of having a good diet and doing exercise. Human health
depends on it. We cannot expect to be free of health problems if we always eat junk food and stay at
home watching TV. That is why this topic is so important, and we cannot ignore it.
Exercises
Walk every day
This might seem like obvious advice, but sometimes the most important pieces of advice are simple.
Make walking a permanent part of your daily routine, and do not just walk. Walk hard. Walk as if you are
in a hurry. Pick a route with lots of trees and hills, and conquer it every day.
Swim
Swimming is a complete and perfect exercise, but it is underrated, unfortunately. If you do not like
sweating, but you do love a good cardio workout, then swimming is for you. The greatest thing about
swimming is that water keeps you cool while your heart is working out.
Plank
The plank is one of those exercises which you can do absolutely anywhere. It tightens the deepest core
muscles, and it is much more effective than squats and crunches. Whenever you can – plank. Straighten
your legs, raise your body, do not clench your buttocks, and hold for at least 30 seconds every time.
Yoga
Yoga is becoming increasingly popular, and for a good reason. It helps you become more aware of your
posture, alignment, and movements. Former star footballer Ryan Giggs said that yoga helped prolong
his professional career, and he played football for 24 years! If yoga was good enough for him, it is
certainly good enough for you.
Diet
Conclusion
This is an interesting topic. I do not have a very good diet, but definitely should. Staying in shape is about
effort and motivation, we have to remember that, although we will be missing some delicious food
(delicious junk food), it is worth it.
If you have a healthy body, you will also have a healthy mind. It is all connected. If we take care of our
body. We take care of our mental health and our feelings. We respect our body. That is how it should
be.
