Hostel Room Booking Procedure

 Booking facility for hostels will be enabled through VIT Student’s Portal
(vtop.vit.ac.in), via Hosteller Tab from 21st September, 2020 onwards.

 Payment of an advance amount of Rs.10,000/- ensures hostel room and

does not confirm the type of bed.

 First year students will be facilitated with shared rooms only (3, 4 or 6
bedded).

 Provision for ONLINE SELECTION of room and mess type will be

enabled based on the date of physical opening of the campus for the
freshers.

 Hostel room allotment will be through an online process on first come

first served basis.

 Upon payment of balance hostel fee online, room type, room number and
mess type will be displayed.

 Payment for hostel room booking will be accepted only upon payment of
the full Tuition Fees.

 A CIRCULAR pertaining to the details of online hostel room booking

will be shared in line with the announcement of reopening of the Institute.
