HOSTEL ESTABLISHMENT FEES & MESS ADVANCE

ONLY FOR ODD SEMESTER 2021-22 (IN VIEW OF COVID-19)

a. For the students, who have kept their belonging only and not staying in
the Hostel due to COVID ’19 issues, Hostel Establishment Charges will
be 60% of the prescribed fee and as given below.
The students who are allowed to take the hostel facility on a future date
need to pay the rest of establishment fee (40%) and mess advance through
“Hostel Bringing Back after Covid-19”. The proof of payment to be sent to
hostelfee@nitt.edu with a copy to the respective Wardens through the
respective hostel email ids (ex. agate@nitt.edu, opale@nitt.edu, ….etc)

Payment by DD / Cash / Cheque / Pay Orders, etc are NOT ACCEPTED.

However, in case of payment of fees on availing education loans / corporate
scholarship, the fee could be remitted through NEFT to :

Kind Attention to the Students those who are paying through Bank Loan /
Corporate Scholarship:

The proof of payment to be mailed to hostelfee@nitt.edu for updating the same in MIS
portal and verification and with a copy to respective hostel wise email id for verifying
the same at the hostels by the Hostel Assistant Managers. Otherwise it may not be updated
in MIS. All Hostellers must get and possess Hostel Fee Receipt issued by Hostel Office.

Important dates for payment of fees for existing students:

Without fine : 31st August 2021
With fine of Rs.1000/- : From 01/09/2021 to 15/09/2021
With fine of Rs.2000/- : From 16/09/2021 to 30/09/2021

If fees are not paid within 30.09.2021, readmission should be obtained with
permission of the Convener/ Chief Warden with a fine of Rs.4000/-
