AZAN ETIQUETTE

Next thing comes in our day is the Azan. There are some manners we
need to take care of while listening to Azan.

We should avoid the worldly-talks during Azan. The Holy Prophet (May
Allah please be upon him) said

“Stop doing everything during the Azan, the person who talks during
the Azan will not be able to say the Kalima-E-Shahadha on his or her death
bed.”

When we hear the Azan we must repeat back what Muadhin says,
except when we say hayya-alasala and hayya-a-lal falah

Then we need to say “La hawla wala quwatha illa billa”

After the azan we need to recite this dua below

If we are in the sexual intercourse with the wife we need to stop it

immediate. If that intercourse leads to pregnancy that child will become the
most dangerous one.

When the Satan hears the call to prayer, he runs away. Seeing that
the dogs barking / howling at the time of Azan.
