EXERCISE 1 – Familiarizing the Workbook and the Worksheet

INSTRUCTION: Apply the following instructions below in a Microsoft Office Excel Program window and
then click the print screen button or screen shot of the window and paste it after every instruction as proof of its
application. You can refer to the given links for guidance.

1. Open the Microsoft Office Excel Program window and Save the workbook with the filename
“EXERCISES”. This will be the workbook that you’re going to use for the entire class session that
we’re going to have so, be sure to save it in your email for easy access at all times and anywhere you’re
going to work on your different exercises.

2. Add 5 additional worksheets since there are only 3 default number of worksheet in a workbook on its
preliminary opening. (PS: Ma’am I added 7 sheets sa ako kay everytime e open gyud nako akong file
ma’am kay isa ra default na sheet dli tulo.)
3. Rename the sheets as follows: Sheet 1 as Making Forms, Sheet 2 as Using Fill Handle, Sheet 3 as Grading
Sheet, Sheet 4 as Inventory, Sheet 5 Liquidation, Sheet 6 as Payroll, Sheet 7 as Moving Sheets, Sheet 8 as
calculations and Sheet 9 as Making Forms

4. Arrange the sheets as follows: --Using Fill Handle, Moving Sheets, Payroll, Grading Sheet, Inventory,
Liquidation, Purchasing, Collection
--delete Making Forms Sheet
--make a copy of Using Fill Handle Sheet and move it in between Using Fill Handle and
moving Sheets
5. Apply different colors to each of your sheet tabs.
