In 10 sentences, explain how to protect participant vulnerable groups from harm that may arise

during the conduct of the study (from data gathering to research dissemination phase).
Vulnerable groups are incapable of giving full legal consent. Like of those children, mentally ill
people, disabled and those severely ill. To protect them from harm that may arise during the
conduct of the study it is important to apply the 3 ethical principles for protecting study
participants. To minimize harm, avoid exploitations of their information that may lead to their
identity. Usage of information is minimized on what information is only stated to be disclosed on
the informed consent. If ever problems or concerns may arise it is important to contact their
spouse or immediate family for negotiations and talk. Not using their disadvantages as
vulnerable group as your advantage as a researcher. Lastly, respect for indifferences that may
arise prior and after the study have been instilled. In addition, to less likely avoid or lessen
harms that may arise it is important to take note that procedures must be taken with caution.
And any redesigned structure of the study must not be kept secretly but must be disclosed to
them and rebalance the risk and benefit ratio.
