• Describe each one of them (personality, appearance, clothes…).

Pedro: Pedro is from the city of Medellin, Antioquia. He is 42 years old. He is of medium
height and his hair is dark brown. Her profession is a gardening teacher and she has worked
for 10 years in the Solecitos Pequeños garden. He likes to tip over casually because of his
kindergarten job.

Laura: Laura is a 30 year old woman. She is slim and extremely tall. She has short straight
blonde hair and her eyes are small and brown. It is very fun and friendly. Laura always
wears sportswear, because it is more comfortable for her daily activities.

Juan: Juan is a veterinarian and of course his love for animals is what stands out the most.
He is 30 years old and is approximately 1.80. He likes rock and in his spare time he travels
with his childhood friends.

Angela: Angela is a young woman, a very kind person with a huge heart, she is always
there to help others and give them words of encouragement. Also, she is very strong and
always works very hard, she is an independent and practical woman.

The photograph was taken in "The Tatacoa Desert", in the Department of Huila.

 What can you do there?

In “The Tatacoa Desert”, different types of walks can be made; along trails and holes. It is
possible to visit the two astronomical observatories that are there, it is also possible to bathe
in the different natural pools that the desert has.

 What are they doing? (present progressive)

The group of friends is visiting “The Tatacoa Desert”, they are remembering some of their
experiences, in past trips. Laura is taking this photo to add to her photo album.
  What did they do yesterday?

The group of 4 friends, yesterday traveled from Bogota to Neiva, in the morning, they had
breakfast in Melgar, Tolima and bought some things for the trip and when they arrived in
Neiva they stayed at the Neiva Risort Hotel.

 What are they planning to do tomorrow?

Pedro, Laura, Juan and Angela, very early tomorrow they will travel to visit neighboring
towns, they will stay in San Agustin and they will know the Augustinian Ruins.
