History

• Ohio State University was


founded in 1870 by Governor
Rutherford B. Hayes.
• In Columbus Ohio, the schools
first graduating class was in
1878 and the school has
continued graduating students
until present day.
• Ohio State is a public school with no religious
affiliation.
• The school is in Columbus, Ohio approximately
3 hours and 9 minutes away from Cranberry
Description Township.
• Over 59,000 students enrolled at Ohio State in
2018.
• To apply to OSU a student
must have at least a 3.75
GPA
• At least a 1240 SAT score
and\or a 27 ACT score.
• Not only that but, the
student must also have one
letter of recommendation or
more and write an essay
with a topic given from the
Ohio State.

• The academic life at Ohio State is very


prestige and well-known.
• Out of the students who enrolled in 2018
64% of them were in the top 10% of their
graduating class.
• There are six degrees available for students
at OSU which allow the students to have a
wide variety of schooling.
• Surrounding Ohio State
University is Columbus Ohio
so there is a wide variety of
activities to do.
• The night life near campus
consists of lots of restraints
and other activities such as

Financial Aid and
Scholarship
• At OSU there is 30,742 $ available for scholarship.
• What most people don’t know is that there are
scholarships for almost anything (Ex. Being over
5’10” at some schools).

• The career services at OSU are spectacular.
• There are many internships available to students
Career Service and possibilities to study abroad.
• Also on average students find a job 2 years after
graduating.

There are many social activities
that help students with social
skills and being in the real world.

There are fraternities and

students as well.

Also, there are leadership


groups and talks.
• On campus living is
something special at OSU.
• Room and board is included
in tuition at the school.
• Unlike schools such as Notre
Dame, where you stay in
your same dorm all 4 years,
you switch dorms and
apartments.

Meal Plans

• There are more than 30


places on campus where
meal plans are provided.
• Also, there are food trucks
around campus.
• Tapingo is also used, it is an
online ordering service that
takes your order and brings
you the food you ordered.

• Personally I haven’t decided
if I want to major in interior
design, architecture, or
entrepreneurship.
• For any of these classes I
would need to take all math
classes and maybe a minor is
business to help me with
entreneurship.
