    Technical Report

    1. Motor Specification :-

    • Type : Slip ring Induction motor.

    • Power : 370 KW

    • Voltage : 6.6 KV

    2. INSPECTION SUMMARY:

    After inspection at last Thursday 28/5/2020 in your site, we found many crack
    point in sleeve box insulation at slip-ring, Sleeve box included many layers of
    insulation material( Bandage tape with risen and Mica) with any time possible
    damage as a result of centrifugal force , So you must be take action as soon as
    possible to avoid phase to phase short circuit fault between rotor winding .

    3. Failure Causes :

    - Life time of insulation & enviromintal condition

    4. SCOPE OF WORK: As recommended:

    - Shipping motor to our workshop

    - Dismantling slip-ring and remove insulation sleeve box .

    - Stripping old insulation & install new insulation layers (Bandage with resin
    ,mica ) or/ installation new slip-ring as we were checked in your where
    house .

    - Testing and Motor assembly.

    - Certification release.
