The industrial revolution 4.0 brought significant changes to the development of transportation and
technology. For example: vehicles without drivers, smart machines, robots and internet of things that
have the ability to connect and facilitate communication between machines, devices and people
through the internet. If previously we could only shop and order food directly, now we don't need to go
to markets or restaurants, because we can do it with a smartphone.

technological progress from time to time brings influence to the development of our country. Every
innovation is created to influence human life. This influence is found in several aspects, including:

1. economics sector

This is the globalization era, technology plays an important role in the economic progress of a country.
With technology, we can save time, effort and increase the quality and quantity of products. As an
example : When farmers have large tracts of land, they automatically have to increase the number of
workers, and longer time to care for these plants. Whereas when we use technological sophistication we
will save more time and money, because we can work faster and get more results. Not only that, the
product of nature can be processed to be of higher quality with large quantities in a short time. Then,
with technology, marketing products throughout the world will become easier, so that the benefits we
get will be greater than working on them manually.

However, there are negative effects from this, such as unemployment will be higher because they are
replaced by machines and robots. Then, how to solve this problem? So, we must provide education and
facilities that are more adequate in the fields of science and technology. So, they can operate various
fields of technology until create new technology. This can benefit our country and these people.

2. Education sector

As we know, technology has a very important role especially in the education sector. Because, with
technology all access becomes easier. For example: we don't need to write repeatedly about student
data, we just enter it into the computer, and we no longer use paper to use the exam, because when
using a computer time will be more efficient, we don't need to waste time by manually correcting one
by one , besides that information that can be accessed more easily by the internet, so that we can access
to well qualified education, accelerate the mastery of science and technology and also learn from the
best practice.

So, what's the problem?

The problem is, the good quality of education is only centered in the big city, while the quality of
education in remote areas is far from perfect, such as : difficult road access, incomplete facilities, and
not widespread internet access.

So, we must equalize the quality of education in all regions by completing facilities in every school sin
any fields. Because everyone has expertise in their respective field, not only subjects but sports and also
work of art.

Technology is very influential in the development of Indonesia, especially in the fields of economics and
education. To support the advancement of technology, we must change ourselves for the better so that
we are not replaced by machines.
