I. Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly

discovered Coronavirus .Find out the answers of the following questions from various
sources- internet/newspapers/elders.

(a)First case of this disease has been reported from which country?
(b)How does this disease spread and what are the symptoms?
(c) Who all are more prone to developing this illness?
(d) As no cure has been discovered so far what all measures you can take to prevent
getting sick?
(e) Which international organisation is playing an important role by bringing the
scientific community together to fight against this dreaded disease?

II. A substance that is less dense than water will float and denser than water will sink in
it. Perform an activity to find which articles/substances like-oil, banana, Iron needle,
dried leaf ,eraser, Coin, lemon, Honey, Plastic bottle and T.T ball sink/float in water
and comment about its density with respect to water in the following table-

III. Take a pencil and walking stick /cricket stump, fix in your garden / balcony and
measure the length of the shadows formed and record the observations as per the
following format.
