This abstract summarizes a study that conducted phytochemical screening and tested the antioxidant activity of the ethyl acetate extract of kaobula leaf (Pisonia alba Span.). The study aimed to determine the secondary metabolite compounds and antioxidant activity present in the ethyl acetate extract of kaobula leaf. Phytochemical screening revealed the extract contained alkaloids, flavonoids, and steroids. Antioxidant activity testing found the extract had an IC50 of 97.411 ppm, indicating it has antioxidant activity.

FARSAN SAPUTRA, “Phytochemical screening and antioxidant activity test
ethyl acetate extract of kaobula leaf (Pisonia alba Span.)” ( guided by Dra Hj Arniah Dali, M.Si and Drs Haeruddin, M.Si). Phytochemical screening and antioxidant activity test acetate extract of kaobula leaf has been done. This study aims to determine the secondary metabolite compounds and antioxidant activity from ethyl acetate extract of kaobula leaf (Pisonia alba Span.). As much as 200 grams of kaobula leaf macerated with ethyl acetate for 24 hours for 3 times. The submerged extract obtained 34,5 grams. The extract screening by phytochemycals. The results showed that the ethyl acetate extract of kaobula leaf (Pisonia alba Span.) contained secondary metabolit compounds alkaloids, flavonoids, and steroid. While the results of antioxidant activity test showed that the ethyl acetate extract of kaobula leaf (Pisonia alba Span.) has antioxidant activity with IC is 97,411 ppm. 50
