Why is our home country our “safe place“ ?

Which is the first thing that comes to your mind when you have to
deal with a difficult situation ? Perhaps, many of us decide to be open
about it and discuss the problem with our beloved ones. Well , it
happens our friends and family to be far away from us. And what is
the way to solve the problem in this case?The way back home.
Bulgaria- a country with an amazing nature and glorious past. A
place which people keep in their hearts even if they are abroad.Today
I am going to introduce you to one of those people.Her name is
Mariya Radeva .The nineteen-year-old girl is a student at Coventry
University in the United Kingdom. She studies product design and can
describe herself as a very polite and hardworking person. So what are

Right now there is a world pandemic going on because of COVID-19.
What it felt like to step again on your native land?Were there any
security measures at the airport ?
-When I came back in Bulgaria,I immediately felt safety.When you
hear someone speaking your native language you just know that
whatever happens you are home. Your family and closest ones are
here for me and because of that my heart was full with calmness. I
was worried that I would not make it to be here. Fortunately
everything is alright now.Also,the security measures at the airport
were very strict.

to your mind first when someone says “Bulgaria“ ?
-Familly,safety,past.
Interesting.Now my third question- What is the thing about Bulgaria
that you miss the most when you are abroad ?
-I think we have very delicious national cuisine.So, the food is
definitely something I miss. Also when I am in the UK I don`t have
much freetime to hang out with friends.
It`s time for my final and favourite question - What do you
think makes Bulgarians unique ?
-I strongly believe that we as a nation are very polite, great-
hearted and good people. Also,we are patriots and care about
our traditions. Bulgarians respect their history and culture.
