Application Details

Consumption / Dosage CS CLEAR ~ 1.1 to 1.2 kg/m2 @ 1mm thickness

Substrate Quality The concrete substrate must be sound and of sufficient compressive
2
Strength (minimum 25 N/mm ) with a minimum pull off strength of
2
1.5 N/mm .
The substrate must be free of all contaminants such as oil, grease,
Coatings and surface treatments etc. If in doubt, apply a test area
first.

Substrate Preparation Concrete substrates must be prepared mechanically using

abrasive blast cleaning or scarifying equipment to remove
cement laitance and achieve an open textured surface.
Weak concrete must be removed and surface defects such as blow
holes and voids must be fully exposed.
Repairs to the substrate, filling of blowholes/voids and surface
levelling must be carried out using appropriate CHIMIQUE SOL
products. The concrete or screed substrate has to be primed or
levelled in order to achieve an even surface.
High spots can be removed by grinding.
All dust, loose and friable material must be completely removed
from all surfaces before application of the product, preferably by
brush or vacuum.

Substrate Temperature +1°C min. / +35°C max.

Mixing Stir Component A first for approx. 15 seconds.

Add component B, and mix for approx. 1 to 2 minutes with low speed mixer.

Application Prior to application, confirm substrate moisture content.

If > 4% moisture content, CHIMIQUE SOL Tuffcem may be applied as a
process & Tools
Temporary Moisture Barrier (TMB) system.

Make sure that a continuous pore free coat covers the substrate.
Apply CS CLEAR by brush, roller or trowel.
