a. Thank you for your email. I can't find an attachment, however. Did you send
it?
Answer :Sorry! I forgot to send the attachment with my last message. You
should find it with this message.
b. Many thanks for your message. Unfortunately, when I try to open the
attachment,
my computer crashes.
Answer : I am sorry that you had problems with the attachment. It is possible
that it has been corrupted. I am sending it again now. Please let me know
if you continue to have problems.
c. Thank you for your reply. Please can you check that you have sent the
correct file to me? I requested a copy of your brochure for the DF434 digital
camera, but I think you have sent me photographs of your office party.
Answer :Please accept my apologies. We must have made a mistake with
the attachment. I am sending the correct file now.
d. I am away from the office for three wecks, so I will not sce the report until I
getback. Can you send me a copy as an artachment?
Answer : I attach the report now so that you receive it immediately. I look
forward to receiving your comments later.
2. Look at 2.1 and 2:3 again. Which messages have more than one
paragraph in the main message? What is the subject of each paragraph?
Answer : Mr Aoyama's email in 2.3 has two paragraphs in the main
message. The first is about his firm's products and information related to
them; the second is forthcoming visit to the Middle East.
