Explain the following Channel Availability evaluation measures:


a. Numeric Distribution (%)
It refers to the number of stock-keeping units or stores holding a specific product name. This
tests the capacity of the business to offer a product to its consumers in terms of the overall
number of promoted distributors. In percentage words, it also helps to measure the reach of
the brand.

b. All Commodity Value (ACV) Distribution (%)
It refers to the percentage of sales produced by the stores that stock a given brand in all
categories. In terms of net revenue between outlets carrying a brand, it calculates the ability
of a company to convey a product to its consumer.

c. Weighted Distribution or Product Category Value (PCV) Distribution (%)
It is the percentage of the product handling store weighted by the sales of the store category

category sales by the stores that stock our brands. It measures whether or not a product is
available in the specific outlet group.
