Marine Operations Safety Limits

This document outlines the operating limits for a liftboat called the Dixie Patriot under normal and severe storm conditions when elevated. Under normal conditions, the maximum water depth is 200 feet with wind speeds up to 50 knots. Under severe storm conditions, the maximum water depth is reduced to 70 feet with wind speeds up to 100 knots and shorter leg penetrations and air gaps. It also provides specific load limits and notes the liftboat should only be jacked up in calm weather in soils with a minimum strength of 2000 lbs/ft.
