Upon completion of training for this corrugator zone, the operator will display a complete understanding of the 6
operational categories for a Shear, Slitter Score, Cut-off Knife.

Safety
The DryEnd operator will be able to locate:
1. All Safety devices Shear, Slitter/Scorer, Cut-Off Knife.
a. Safety devices and their locations.
i. Main Isolation Devices (To access a machine for maintenance all main energy must be off
and locked per Plant Lock out Tag out procedures.)
1. Electrical
2. Pneumatic
3. Kinetic
ii. Secondary Isolation devises.( Restricts some energy sources from machine, and will stop
machine if running. Gives access to machine for minor jam clearing. Must follow Plant
Lock out Tag out procedures.)
iii. Process Isolation Device. (Allows access to limited areas of machine while it is operating.

h. Select the Slitter machine Icon ( Setups Tab):
i. Determine which Shaft (Axis) is running.
ii. Determine what blades are being used.
iii. Determine what Scores are being used.

i. Make adjusts to:

j. Using the Process Control button determine:
i. What singlefacer is in use.
ii. What level of Pre-heater is in use.
iii. What level of Glue unit is in use.
iv. If machines are in locale control (manual) or Syncro control (Automatic).
k. Using the Alarms button and tabs determine fault or stop reason.
