This form is designed as a Microsoft Excel template to enable the electronic submission of research trait performance info
Australia for your animals.

Do not delete columns from this sheet under any circumstances. If the column does not apply to you, simply lea

Entering Performance Data: Description of each Field

The "Example Data Submission" sheet provides example data records to show how to complete the fields. Use t
conjunction with these explanations as a guide for recording the data.

'L' Column Enter the letter 'L'. This is required for the electronic processing of your data.

'D' Column Enter the letter 'D'. This is required for the electronic processing of your data.

Assessor Number Enter the accreditation number for the assessor that structurally scored your animals (where appli
Accredited assessor numbers can be found on the Angus Australia website (www.angusaustralia.com.au). If you
animals yourself, enter an accreditation number of 9999.

Society Code Enter 'ANGS'. This is required for the electronic processing of your data.

Herd Ident Enter your Angus Australia Herd Ident

Animal Ident Enter the Angus Australia Identification of the animal. Note that the full Angus Australia Ident of the anim
entered not just the tattoo.

Measurement Date Record the date of performance recording. Please ensure you use the correct format (yyyymmdd)
1st February 2019 should be entered as 20190201.

Man Grp Record the management group.

A management group should be entered if some animals have been treated differently which would have a
performance (e.g. did not raise a calf in previous year). Maximum of three letters/numbers to describe each
no management group is entered, it will be assumed all animals have been run under similar conditions and thus
opportunity to perform.

Trait/s For each research trait, there are two areas to complete:
