GUIDANCE SERVICES SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

Collect necessary information from each student that will be use in creating services or programs that are responsive to their

Information Service To provide information and ideas that is not usually discussed inside the classroom.

To bring meaningful awareness and understanding of self and environment; improve planning and decision making skills and help
Counseling Service
develop positive behavior.

Consultation Service Aims to assist and render service to another party or organization wherein the GC’s expertise is needed and requested.

Prevention and Wellness Service Predict, control and prevent unnecessary occurrences in the lives of students.

Follow-up Service This seeks to determine the status of the clientele and determine if the service has been effective and helpful.

Placement Service Aims to assist students with concerns related to academic and career placements.

To discover new information that can be use in creating client-responsive programs and services.
Evaluation
To gauge the effectivity of the programs and services of the Guidance Office.

Psychological Testing Create awareness on the aptitudes, interests, preferences and personality of the students.

Special Programs To extend career guidance to graduating high school students

Department Based Guidance Advocates immediate academic follow-up to failing students.
