Mikeas Kent Esteban Comprehensive Guidance Program and Services

Introduction

The school offers comprehensive guidance program and services designed for the enhancement
and development of the students’ full potential through various programs/services. These
programs/services provides psycho-social and academic assistance to students to improve their
academic skills, set career goals, manage healthy relationships, be social responsible, cope with
their problems, deal with adjustment difficulties and other developmental issues they face in the
school and in the community.

Vision, Mission and Objectives

Vision

The comprehensive guidance program and services aims to develop well-adjusted, self-directive
and productive individuals of the society; and equipped with values that would help them assess
their purpose in life to create fulfilling relationships.

Mission

The comprehensive guidance program and services provides assistance in a holistic attainment and
development of necessary proficiencies and life skills needed by the students through quality
program and services.

Objectives

These comprehensive guidance program and services exists for the students, and it functions in
the service of their interest. Its objectives is to:

1. Offer various services to help students boost their self-esteem and be more self-aware, and to
discover full potential and learn a deeper meaning and purpose in life.
2. Promote the welfare of the students and the whole school community by providing relevant
and adequate services that responds to their needs.
3. Enhance the intellectual and social environment of the campus for the total development of
students.
4. Assist students in decision-making processes and the development and refinement of their
interpersonal, intrapersonal, and social relations.
5. Provide career and counselling services to students, teachers and employees.
6. Provide a variety of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities which are contributory to the
students’ holistic development and supportive of the school educational objectives.
