1. You must have administrator privileges when installing Vistro.

If you are unsure of your user level, check the User Accounts under Control Panel or contact your
administrator.
2. It is highly recommended that you close all other applications before beginning the installation.
3. Attach your hardware key to your computer.
4. Make sure it is securely connected.
For further information regarding hardware key installation, please refer to the document
OVERVIEW_CODEMETER.PDF in the DOC folder of your Vistro installation and on the installation
DVD.

1. Insert the Vistro Installation DVD or select the SETUP*.EXE downloaded from the customer
download site.
2. If the DVD does not start automatically, use Windows Explorer to open the DVD directory.
3. Click on the SETUP*.EXE program to begin the installation.
The User Account Control window opens:

4. If prompted, select Yes or Run.

5. Select English.
6. Click OK.

7. Select I accept the agreement.
8. Click Next >.

9. Select I have read the data privacy policy.

10. Click Next >.

11. Select a folder where Vistro will be installed.

12. Click Next >.

13. You can choose between Standard installation, Full installation and Compact installation.

14. Additionally, you can select which components to include in the installation.

15. Click Next >.

16. Select the Start Menu Folder for the program shortcuts.
17. Click Next >.

18. Specify additional tasks, e.g. if you want to add shortcuts to Vistro to the Windows Start menu,
to the quick launch bar and/or to the desktop.
19. Click Next >.

20. Click on Install to continue.

21. It is recommended to restart your computer after the installation.
