    WEEKLY PROGRESS REPORT

    WEEK 1
    My Topic is Doctrine of Election under Transfer of Property Act,1882.I chose this topic because
    The Doctrine of Election is an important aspect of the Transfer of Property Act,1882,in order to
    settle property disputes that often arise between two parties.There are certain rules for making the
    election.However,there are certain exceptions to the rule.The research of the project will provide
    with a clear understanding of the conditions necessary for the election by the original owner to take
    place.Till now I have made an abstract for my research.In the next week I am going to prepare an
    introduction and literature review of my topic

    WEEK 2
    This week I have completely gone through the material which I collected earlier.Till now,I have
    completed my introduction part and explained the background of the topic Doctrine of Election
    under Transfer of Property Act,1882.Now I am focusing on the other part of thesis which is
    statement of the research problem.

    WEEK3
    This week I have completed the statement of the research problem.Also I have gone through with
    the recent cases wherein the judges expressed their concern about the Doctrine of Election under
    Transfer of Property Act,1882.I have referred from Live law, Supreme court website and Indian
    Kanoon.

    WEEK 4
    This week I have concluded my research paper and bibliography.
