Summary

Findings revealed that the Programs and Activities of Sa Paglaya Cooperative focus in elevating the
Poverty around the subject area,specifically the Laiya,Aplaya.It demonstrate that this organization
relates to the contribution on economic and social development between the members of
community.This cooperative is working with their key programs that focus on agriculture where from
different places in the Philippines particularly in Davao,fertilizers and seeds of various crafts
( coffee,cocoa,banana ) are transporting here in Batangas,and was given free in the agrarian sector of
Laiya,Aplaya.But the reality here is,some of the farmers don't take the free crafts because they think
only money is the exchange for that.

binababa.Disiotso mil,tapos merong ibaba na kakao na walong libo dito rin,dyan ay tatawagan ko na

Comment

According to Cotthem (2009) Cooperatives subsidize to vibrant rural economies around the world, and
they offer the best opportunity for a farmer-focused and agricultural competitive agricultural
business.Trough this farmers help them to improve their income from marketplace,maintain their access
in input sources and capitalize new marketplace opportunities, including value-added processing.

Summary

Where the member-respondents perceived the effects of Sa Paglaya Cooperative in their

community,activities and programs not only help the elders but also the youth.This organization making
way for the teenagers nowadays seeing them as useful one.Programs that can be used in leisure time
and rest from the school is giving summer jobs,teaching the youths to be responsible,and most
importantly is to be creative in the way they know.One of the benefits that organization is promoting is
the free education that help some teenagers in their everyday life and financial situation.

According to Palomar College (2020)The cooperative benefits to the students are they has opportunity
to earn money while learning, increases employability and earning power,it has opportunity to respond
to the specific needs of the community,it has closer contsct with your community and last is gains
additional insights to the classroom situation as a result of the cooperative education maturing on the
summer job.

Summary

The results of this paper shows that this Cooperatives is not working by money but in the minds and
hearts for change of the heads of Sa Paglaya Cooperative.Analysis concede interesting themes about the
influence of this organization in the familsies and businesses with the connection in crafting.Aside from
agriculture ang giving job employment to the residents of Laiya,Aplaya,crafting is one of their key
programs.This is not social friendly,because you can have time with your family and friends while doing
the product,but it's also ecofriendly.SaPaglaya main source of making various products like rope and
house materials is coconut.Implication study provide the reality behind the Sa Paglaya Cooperative
where methods used to conduct this research.

a economic goal.For business purposes,it refers to the creation of services and goods to benefit those
individuals.For examples are agricultural products, utilities,chilcare/preschools,insurance, health
care,legal services,food, equipment,and employment services.
