Admitting Diagnosis: - Monitor VS q15 minutes during the
1st hour of Paclitaxel Infusion, then
Pleural Effusion secondary subsequently monitor VS q1 while on
chemotherapy.
to Ovarian CA
- Post chemotherapy medications to
be given:
a) Metoclopromide 10 mg IV
TlD x 5 days
b) Dexamethasone 20 mg IV
BID x 5 days
c) Omeprazole 40 mg IV OD x 7
days
d) Multivitamins + iron
(Stresstabs) 1 tab OD
e) Vitamin B complex
(Neurobion) 1 tab BID
f) Magnesium (Trimag) 200
mg/cap 1 tab OD x 7 days
IVF
(indicate date and time started)
 Dexamethasone 20 mg IV
(12 hours prior to
chemotherapy)
@ 11:00 PM (10/22/20)
 Dexamethasone 20 mg IV
(6 hours prior to chemotherapy)
@ 5:00 AM (10/23/20)
 PNSS 1L run 500 mL in 1 hour
then KVO (1 hour prior to
chemotherapy) and to give
premedications: (10/23/20)
1) Dexamethasone 20 mg IV
2) Ranitidine 50 mg IV
3) Diphenhydramine 50 mg
4) Ondansetron (Onzet) 8 mg IV
 Start Paclitaxel 238 mg (175
mg/m2) in 500 mL PNSS (glass
bottle) and run as side drip for 3
hours with main line closed
