computer programs and applications. The most common Examples of Operating Systems are
Windows, Kali Linux and IOS etc.

Answer: There are many popular operating systems that are being used five of them are
described below
Microsoft Windows
Microsoft Windows which is also known or referred as Windows is one of the most used and
best Operating System of the present era. It is introduced by Microsoft. It is group of a several
proprietary graphical operating system. It consist of more than one version. Best version of this
operating system is Windows version 10. It have advanced interfaces and is compatibility to the
most of devices.
Linux
Linux is also one of the most used and modern operating system. Linux is introduced by Linux
Kernal in 1991. As an operating system linux is a software that sits underneath all of the other
computer software managing requests from all the other computer programs.
Mac OS
Mac OS is the second most used operating system in the modern era which consists of
proprietary graphical operating system which was developed by Apple. It also have many
versions which gives the users latest updates and interfaces with new features.
Ubuntu
Ubuntu is one of the top operating system which is being used in the modern era it is a linux
distribution based on debian composed of free and open source software it is mostly installed
on personal computers to do things related to the internet.
Android
Android is one of the best and elite operating system which is basically built for the mobile
phone devices. It is basically the modified and advanced version of the Linux kernel. It controls
all the operation of the mobile phone. It is basically introduced for touch screens.
