October Optional Project 

 
A Pumpkin Book report is a fun way to display a character from a 
favorite book. For this O ​ PTIONAL​ at-home project, choose a pumpkin 
(PLEASE DO NOT CARVE IT), decorate it in any way to resemble a 
favorite character in a favorite book, and then send it in to school October 
28th! A DRAWING of a pumpkin dressed as a character is okay too!  
 
Your child will display their pumpkin and share a little bit about it to 
the class during Halloween week.   
 
This project is ​NOT​ required, so if this is a busy time for your family, 
I completely understand. There may be additional optional project 
opportunities later in the year. I just wanted to provide an option in the 
fall if you and your family are looking for something fun to do together.
