Dear Ellicott Families,

In previous years, Ellicott has celebrated and recognized veterans who have an association with our school
community. This year we are hosting a breakfast in their honor on November 10, from 8:00-8:45 AM in the
Ellicott Elementary cafeteria.
If there is a special veteran your student(s) would like to honor at this event, we ask that you RSVP on the
Veterans Day Form below by Friday, November 4th. Due to limited space and limited parking, we are able to
invite:
● Your Ellicott student(s)
● ONE veteran
● ONE additional adult if needed(spouse, student’s parent related to veteran, etc.)
The breakfast will end promptly at 8:40am to ensure our parking lot can be cleared out for student arrival.
This year, we would like to create a slideshow with a picture of your Ellicott veteran. Please send digital
photos only to Patrick McMillan, Technology Instructional Coach at Ellicott Elementary,
(pmcmillan@opschools.org).
Thank you for helping Ellicott Elementary honor and show our appreciation for the veterans who have
served our nation in the U.S. Armed Forces.
