CAV: Freshment Orientation – The annual freshmen

orientation is happening inside our Campus. This event will


provide important information to the freshmen student
regarding our university policies. We have Shaidomar Laco

AS: – SOGIE Bill – The controversial Sexual Orientation,
Gender Identity and Expression or SOGIE bill has been a
hot topic in our Country. Recently, the Senate conducts a
public hearing on SOGIE Equality bill and the Senators,
religious groups and organizations are divided on this
matter. We have Charles Soriano who went to Intramuros,
Manila to know the pulse of the public regarding this issue.

CAV: – 88th National Heroes Day – National Heroes' Day
has been celebrated since 1931 when Act No. 3827 stated it
should be observed on the last Sunday of August. But In
2007, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed Republic
Act No. 9492, moving the national holiday to the last
Monday of August. Miguela de Leon went to Rizal Park in
Manila to commemorate the 88th National Heroes Day. Let’s

AS: – Local Streetwear (Fashion) – New York, London,
Paris, and Rome are the major fashion capitol of the world.
Here in Manila, a drastic change in fashion emerged.

discover the talent of young Filipinos when it comes to

CAV: – Inside Aguinaldo’s Mansion – In other news, Kei
Toletino visited the Aguinaldo shrine in Kawit, Cavite. What
is really like behind the doors of the mansion of the 1st
President of our country? The grandeur and history of this
building will be reported by Kei Ann Tolentino. Let’s watch

AS: – The 40th Annual Manila International Book Fair –
The Manila International Book Fair (MIBF), now on its 40th
year, has over 100 exhibitors with both big bookstore chains
and independent publishers well-represented. Aside from
books, MIBF also offers plenty of activities such as book
signing events, lectures, workshops, and storytelling
sessions. Bhea Lei Maestro paid a visit at Mall of Asia in
Pasay City to witness this annual event. Let’s watch her

CAV: – Fashion Trend for Cold Weather – Ber month
marks the start of cold weather in the Philippines. If you are
being problematic what to wear this season then don’t worry
because you could still look fashionable even in this cold
weather. We have Ana Janina Baquial who went to
Greenbelt, Makati to know the fashion trend for this cold
weather. Let’s watch her report.
AS: – Food Crawl: Intramuros – Travelling to Intramuros is a
great way to appreciate the rich history of the Philippines.
Intramuros was built 300 years ago by Spaniards when the
Philippines was still a colony of Spain. It is not only famous for its
meticulous renaissance architecture but also on the countless
restaurants and eatery which can be found anywhere inside the
historic location. Tracy Daphne Bautista made a tour around
Intramuros, Manila and visited some restaurants and tasted their
