This is the story of my life while I lived in the jungle for six months very far from home,

sometimes 36 hours to Chimbote, depending on the weather.

It all started when I needed to work, because I didn't have a work for the last 7 months
exactly. In those days, when I didn't work, I was issues because I broke up with my
boyfriend, honestly, I felt badly and the money had been insufficient the last days.
At the start, my family had scary until I decided take a risk and begin the development
professional of my career.
Usually, the way to Ucayali is complicated, you take 2 busses and next go in boat. Frequently
you don't find seats and you go how you can. Can you believe it?
When I arrived, I had thought that maybe the situation in anytime will be difficult, because I
was the new in my job.
I was wrong, my coworkers were friendly including my boss, they knew that I was alone, far
to my house and they tried to share with me their meets, parties, and lunch with their
families.
I had wake up 6 o'clock every morning for run three or four kilometers, next I had prepared
my breakfast, take a shower and go to my job.
At lunch I had done my food, hardly ever eat in a restaurant. Then I went to my work again
and 6 o'clock my day at work I had finish.
The rest of the nights I had been time to walk or eat with my friends.

Really, I was being happy I had had a quiet life connection my mind with nature.
I was eating with my friend, when other friend presented me to José.
For me, José was a boy who at first impression was very kind.
Then I went to eat with José often times, the conversation with he was incredible.

For July 28 we traveled with a group of friends to Oxapampa.

We both like each other, but we knew that I would return to Chimbote at any moment.
Finally, this happened, I was returning to my house meanwhile Jose was working, we didn't
say goodbye. He continued in Ucayali, although he is from Lima but until now, we don't
coincide in times. I am still in communication with him but it isn't the same, the same
happens with my coworkers, currently some of them have children, others changed of job
and they are in another city, whatever, I still chatting with they.

To conclude, what I learned from this story is that you can do better, nothing is forever, bad
times go. I gratefull me take the decision to go to Ucayali. Honestly, the people in this city is
very friendly, I done friends and the experience is so great. I recommend that if you have a
possibility to travel for work you don't think so much, go! Apart of you have a job you meet
places, people, foods, and experiences different, also you learn to survive alone. It is 10 of
10.
